Q. Can an LCD TV be mounted on any type of wall?
In Dubai and the UAE, homes have different types of walls like a concrete pillar, normal block, and gypsum. The composition and strength of the wall along with the weight of your television must be considered before mounting it. A carelessly mounted television may lead to accidents that may put your family and property at risk. A professional handyman will ensure safe television mounting by keeping in mind the type and strength of the wall.
Q. What if there is no bracket with the LCD TV screen?
Usually, the bracket is inside the LCD TV packaging box if it has been purchased new. In cases where the bracket is missing, we request you to inform the handyman and he will arrange for a bracket before he reaches your location. The price for the bracket will be discussed by the handyman with you directly. In case the TV only needs to be mounted on the swivel, please ensure that the swivel is provided to the handyman. No civil work is included in standard mounting jobs.
Q. How should I ensure that the LCD TV installation has been done correctly?
You can check the LCD TV installation by going through the following checklist:
1. Check the level of the top of the LCD TV.
2. Check the bracket of the LCD TV for the necessary movement – slide or swivel.
3. Check that there is enough gap between the LCD TV and the wall behind it.
4. Check that the cables are plugged into your television and that it is working. Please note that you will have to make a request for a long cable requirement. Cables are managed by a cable tie or a containment if requested separately.

A standard TV mount installation takes between 1 to 3 hours to install. A custom installation may take longer, depending on the customisation.

A standard TV installation takes as much as the handyman’s call out service charges for a particular sized TV.
Q. How do you mount a TV on the wall without studs?
Use a toggle for LCD TV mounting without studs, but only as long as you are aware of the limits of the wall and of the toggle.
