Q.Is it advisable to be at home during a general pest control service?
No. Even though most treatments are formulated at low concentration levels and leave no exposed residue, we firmly advise that you stay out of the house during and for at least 4 hours after the service.
Q. What can I do before and after a general pest control treatment?
In order to get the best results from an upcoming general pest control treatment, you can do the following:
1. Clear the corners of your home of any furniture and household articles.
2. Open drain covers and keep the drains exposed.
3. Remove any utensils from the affected area.
Q. Does a pest control service guarantee elimination of pests?
Pest control services in Dubai do not provide any guarantee of pest elimination. Pest elimination depends on the pests’ immunity to the chemicals used. Also, if they have laid eggs before the treatment, then the possibility of re-infestation is high. However, in most cases, they do get eliminated. At HomeGenie, we provide a commitment for 6 months. If the infestation re-appears within that time, we do another service for free. However, it should be noted that the real effect of the treatment shows within 10-14 days, as the chemicals set in the infested area.
